Abstract of a presentation providing a climate outlook for the Nordic/Baltic region over the next few decades, around mid-Century and towards the end of the 21st Century. Examples were given of regional scenarios under different emission scenarios, from different climate models and accounting for how natural variability might play in and over shorter periods either suppress or enhance the climate trends due to anthropogenic forcing. Uncertainty in future projections were discussed to some extent, as well as to what degree the results are robust.
