Elin Löwendahl obtained a Master in Science from Göteborg University 2003. She then worked at Chalmers University of Technology within the visionary project “Göteborg 2050" which was a cooperative effort between Chalmers, Göteborg University and the local municipalities in the Region of Göteborg. She continued her work with the Göteborg 2050 project at the City of Göteborg´s Environmental Administration as well as at the Centre for Environment and Sustainability, GMV (Göteborgs MiljöVetenskapliga centrum). At GMV Elin also was coordinator for Göteborg Action for Management of the Environment (GAME) that is a collaborative project in Western Sweden bringing partners and stakeholders together from research, industry and regional authorities. Elin has also worked with environmental and climate investigation at the Swedish Civil Aviation Authority. Besides the involvement in Mistra-SWECIA she now works with other climate communication activities at SMHI.
