Urban drainage and climate change: a problematic approach

Karolina Berggren, Gilbert Svensson and Maria Vikander  show an example of a climate change impact study on urban drainage, withKalmarin southeastern Sweden as a practical example. The climate scenario input is derived from the kind of regional studies pursued in Mistra SWECIA. The urban drainage system in question is complex on its own right, but as is shown, combining detailed information on climate scenarios and the drainage system can lead to very specific findings that can be considered in adaptation and other planning decisions.
