Stakeholder mapping of the Stockholm region as a first step to understand adaptation process

Karin André presents a mapping of the stakeholder landscape in the first Mistra SWECIA case study that focuses on the Stockholm region. This is important background for research on adaptation processes. In addition to locating key people and documenting existing climate adaptation efforts, it clarifies the relevant institutional setting and relations between the various stakeholders. The stakeholder mapping leads to research efforts and eventually new insights both on climate adaptation needs and how to go about it, which is much the essence of the programme.
